They listened to insights from Ambassador Boštjan Malovrh and Elisa Gazzotti of the HRE TT, who also coordinates Human Rights Education at SGI Office for UN Affairs. Ivy Koek, representing SGI at the UN, spoke on gender equality and women's empow
The MAD Girl team focused on overcoming poverty and empowering young women through education. They listened to insights from Ambassador Boštjan Malovrh and Elisa Gazzotti of the HRE TT, who also coordinates Human Rights Education at SGI Office for UN Affairs. Ivy Koek, representing SGI at the UN, spoke on gender equality and women's empowerment. Ute, a Zonta member, shared her extensive organizational experience. The team was moved by a personal story from a child marriage survivor. The event reinforced the importance of MAD Girls' mission and the change they aim to create.
Prepared and distributed meals to homeless individuals and families, offering happiness and sustenance during tough times. These midnight runs not only provided much-needed nourishment but also a sense of hope and human connection. By engaging directly with those in need, we aimed to show empathy and support, reinforcing the idea that everyone deserves dignity and care.
